Modular Chiller Plant

From a decades-long relationship, this Fortune 500 company engaged Berkowsky and Associates, Inc. (BAI), alongside two other design and construction partners, to expand the capacity of their on site chilled water system.

The first phase of the project selected a prefabricated modular chiller plant to be assembled on site and incorporate six new cooling towers with structural steel platform, three chillers, six pumps, new parking lot, and pedestrian walkways.

BAI procured the materials needed for the project and completed construction during phase two. New piping, insulation, valves, instrumentation, landscaping, and screen wall were added. This completed building addition is connected to the existing chilled water system to allow for overhead or total augmented capacity needs.
