Berkowsky and Associates, Inc.
Berkowsky and Associates, Inc. (BAI) was incorporated in 1990 by Mark Berkowsky, an established licensed architect. In the 34 years since, the company has become a second-generation run company, with Mark’s daughter Siri Berkowsky Heinrichs as CEO/CFO, and son Eric Berkowsky as Executive Vice President. The firm is a WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) certified business. Eric and Siri work closely together managing the day-to-day activities of the business while Mark continues to contribute his extensive technical knowledge and architectural expertise to special projects and guide the company on its philanthropic pursuits.

Siri Berkowsky Heinrichs, CEO/CFO,
joined Berkowsky and Associates, Inc. (BAI) in 2007. Expanding beyond her starting role as Treasurer, Siri has been continuing her father's legacy since 2019 when she became majority shareholder, making BAI a second-generation family-owned and operated business. With Siri at the helm, BAI is a WBENC-certified women’s business enterprise, opening the firm to new business opportunities where diversity is celebrated. In her role, Siri works collaboratively with the Executive Team on day-to-day business operations ensuring the mission and core values of the company are consistently met. Prior to BAI, Siri developed from an administrative assistant to a successful project manager of corporate business operations at an international computer consulting company over the course of a decade.
Siri received her Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
Outside of her professional life, Siri has held numerous volunteer roles including Secretary and Treasurer at her children’s school PTO; She is a lifelong Girl Scout, and past service unit cookie manager and troop leader. She is also the events coordinator for her husband and three children. Siri enjoys rooting for the Denver Broncos, playing with her rescue dog Hunter, as well as cooking, gardening, and fitness.

Mark Berkowsky, AIA, PP, LEED AP, NCARB, President,
founded the company in 1990. He has spent more than 30 years developing trusting partnerships with engineers, consultants, and contractors to offer turnkey services to a diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 Companies, financial institutions, and non-profit organizations. He is an expert in pharmaceutical and sustainable design, and continues his work advising the executive team and acting as project executive on specialty projects.
Mark serves as a liaison between clients and local/state agencies in matters on code compliance. Mark believes strongly in giving back to his community and spearhead's the company's commitment to philanthropy through his volunteer work. Mark is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Mark has been member of the Board of Trustees of the Cranbury Historical & Preservation Society for over 35 years. He has worked for over 30 years as President of Cranbury Housing Associates, a non-profit organization, providing affordable housing. He has volunteered with Eden Autism Services for 20+ years and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mark received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
When not wearing one of his many hats, Mark can often be found on the golf course or driving his 1979 Triumph Spitfire.

Eric Berkowsky,
Executive Vice President,
joined the company in 2002. In his role, Eric co-creates and utilizes company business plans to drive profitability and margins year after year. He monitors the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments.
Eric diligently oversees sales and marketing efforts through strategies to position the company as an industry expert for in-house design and construction.
Responsible for owner contract negotiations and adherence to master agreements, Eric acts as the company's liaison for design, construction and safety. His focus on increasing safety by developing corporate initiatives has benefited Berkowsky by decreasing and maintaining a reduced EMR - building profitability, but more importantly increasing the safety of our employees every day.
Eric received his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is OSHA certified and is a member of both the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Association.
When not in the office, Eric can be found playing pool in the American Poolplayers Association, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, or throwing the football with his son.

William (Bill) Stoebenau,
Vice President of Construction,
joined Berkowsky and Associates, Inc. (BAI) in 2000. Starting as a Senior Project Manager he successfully completed numerous projects in pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospitality, commercial office, and educational facilities.
As Vice President of Construction since 2009, Bill maintains his strong client relationships, oversees all construction projects, and construction labor scheduling, training, safety inspections, and routine building maintenance.
Bill received his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He has multiple OSHA certifications and is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
When not at the office, Bill can be found attending a Penn State football game or enjoying a fine wine from his personal wine cellar.
